What is the study of the shape and structure of an organism's body?

Anatomy

Understanding how the body is organized and what its parts look like is answered by anatomy. Anatomy focuses on the shape, location, and relationships of the body's structures, from organs down to tissues and cells, giving a map of how the body is put together. This is different from physiology, which asks how those parts work and interact; biochemistry, which looks at the chemical processes inside cells; and histology, which examines tissues under the microscope to see their microscopic organization. So, when the question is about the study of shape and structure, anatomy is the best fit because it directly addresses the architecture of the body.
